Biography

Bart Peeters (November 30, 1959 - Mortsel, Flanders, Belgium) is an actor and writer. Under young audiences he is especially known as commentating voice-over (and before that: location host) during the TV movies featuring the arrival of Saint Nicholas and Black Pete in Flanders. He also performed this role in the 1992/1993 series "Dag Sinterklaas".

His third child and first son Pablo is born.

Has three children with his wife Anneke: two daughters (Winnie and Nona) and one son (Pablo).

Formed the fairly successful Dutch-language pop rock band "De Radios" with the orphaned Rwandese-born brothers Ronny and Robert Mosuse, which he also got involved in various of his TV programs, and continued performing as solo-singer and guitarist.

Bart's last name is identical to the name of the traditional fairytale character Black Pete which is also sometimes called 'Black Peter', some television productions feature more than just one Black Pete which could also be called 'Black Peters'. Bart has played a significant role in multiple television productions featuring the character Black Pete. When shortening both names in English to the starting letters the abbreviation that remains is 'BP'.
