Biography

Mizuo Peck was born on August 18, 1977 in New York City, New York, USA. She is an actress, known for Night at the Museum (2006), Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian (2009) and Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb (2014). She was previously married to Jeffrey Shagawat.

She is the daughter of Sanae and George Leete Peck. Her father was born in New Haven, Connecticut, and had English, and some Irish and Scottish, ancestry. Her mother was of Japanese descent.

Majored in Theatre at The LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts.

Became a widow in 2017 when her husband Jeffrey Shagawat tragically passed away after a battle with brain cancer.

Began performing musical theatre at age 11 at TADA!, a professional Youth Theatre Company.

Graduated with a BFA in Theatre from the Theatre Conservatory at SUNY Purchase.
