Biography

Octavio Paz was born on March 31, 1914 in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico. He was a writer, known for The Rebel (1943), I, the Worst of All (1990) and La hija de Rappaccini (2024). He was married to Marie Jo Paz and Elena Garro. He died on April 19, 1998 in Mexico City, Mexico.

Received Nobel Prize for literature.
