As the 1948 Olympic Figure Skating Champion, Barbara Ann Scott from
Canada had turned pro the Austrian Eva Pawlik was celebrated as the
world's highest ranking female amateur skater in the summer of 1948.
Pawlik did a lot of exhibition skating in the US, where she was also
asked to be the lead boss of the revue 'Holiday On Ice', considered
Pawlik Europe's best show-star on the ice since Sonja Henie.
