Biography

Uwe Paulsen was born on April 22, 1944 in Elmshorn, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. He was an actor, known for Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977), Aliens (1986) and Willow (1988). He died on June 5, 2014 in Berlin, Germany.

The son of the dancer Hilla Hofer (Hilla Höfer) and the famous German character actor Harald Paulsen.

He was originally cast as Zazu in the German language version of "The Lion King". However, for reasons unknown, he was replaced with Eberhard Prüter.

Was the German voice of Barnacle Boy in Seasons 1-5 of 'SpongeBob SquarePants'.
