Albert Paul was born on February 2, 1856 in Berlin, Germany. He was an actor and director, known for Homunculus (1916), Die Kaukasierin (1917) and Ganz ohne Krause (1918). He died on August 5, 1928 in Dresden, Germany.

The actor Albert Paul was an established stage actor when he gained a foothold in the still emerging film business.

The sound film could use the acting abilities of Albert Paul but he died already in 1928 at the age 72.

He became a much demanded movie actor but he still appeared regular on the stage as well.
