- The actor Paul Passarge began his career at the theater before he became a demanded support actor in movies of the 10s.
- He became established as a movie actor in the second half of the 10s and during that time he often played together with the first German movie star Henny Porten.
- To his first cinematical works belong "Der Andere" (1913) which went down to the German film history as the first artistic ambitious movie as well as "Bismarck" (1914).
- Paul Passarge took part in numerous silent movies of the 20s where he was able again to demonstrate his acting abilities.
- His last movie was "Lotte" (1928) at the side of Henny Porten, Hermann Vallentin and Elsa Wagner. The director was Carl Froelich.
