    Arthur Jeph Parker, professionally known as "Art Parker", began his professional set decorating career in the television studio art department at CBS Television City, Fairfax and Beverly Boulevard, in Hollywood, California. From this network association, Art's career moved from live television production into the film area for television production, becoming a member of IATSE #44 Set Decorators union division. Because of his multiple decorating background experiences, Art moved into motion picture film production, decorating feature films. Art's physical appearance was impressive, standing 6'2" tall, slim and lean, with a warm and friendly disposition, always well dressed; he was always welcomed into the art department-production designer team and into a film director's alliance.
