E.L. Park(1876-1948)

Edward Leon Park, sometimes known as E. L. Park or Ed Park, was the owner of a costume store in L.A.'s Chinatown when he was recruited to play Charlie Chan in Behind That Curtain (1929). He was the first Chinese American to play Charlie Chan on-screen. He was married to Oie Chan and had two daughters, Bo-Ling and Bo-Ching Park, who all played minor parts in Charlie Chan films.
