Biography

Chris Packham was born on May 4, 1961 in Southampton, Hampshire, England, UK. He is an actor and writer, known for Inside Our Autistic Minds (2023), Holby City (1999) and The Trials of Life (1990).

He was awarded the CBE (Commander of the Order of the British Empire) in the 2019 Queen's New Years Honours List for his services to Nature Conservation. He is a conservationist and broadcaster in Southampton, Hampshire, England.

He is a British wildlife filmmaker, photographer and author.

His sister is gown and ready-to-wear designer Jenny Packham.

In interviews he has talked about his love for the song "Shout Above The Noise" by Penetration, which he would like to be played at his funeral.
