Edith Oß was born on May 10, 1914 in Chemnitz, Germany. She was an actress, known for Wir machen Musik (1942), Der Kleinstadtpoet (1940) and Liselotte von der Pfalz (1935). She was married to Hell Renard and Horst Winter. She died on March 3, 2012 in München, Germany.

She became established in normally support roles.

After the war she only appeared in few more movies.
