- Amos Oz was born on May 4, 1939 in Jerusalem, Palestine [now Israel]. He was a writer, known for A Tale of Love and Darkness (2015), Black Box (1993) and My Michael (1974). He was married to Nily Zuckerman. He died on December 28, 2018 in Tel Aviv, Israel.
