Shin'ya Ôwada was born on 25 October 1947 in Fukui, Japan. He is an actor and writer, known for Kyôryû wo horô! (2013), The Motive (2004) and Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack (2001). He has been married to Michiko Godai since 1980. They have two children.
