Ruth Olshan is a director, author and writer. She studied directing and film production in Leeds (UK) and at the KHM in Cologne. She works as a lecturer in film, creative writing and screenwriting at institutions both in Germany and abroad.
She has received numerous awards and grants. Her films have been screened at international festivals such as Venice, Locarno, Munich, Tbilisi, Berlin and Oberhausen. Ruth Olshan also works as a coach and consultant for feature films and documentaries.
