- Yoshiki Okamoto was born in 1961 in Japan. He is a producer and director, known for Resident Evil (2002), Varth: Operation Thunderstorm (1992) and Mega Man X4 (1997).
- Upon his resignation of Capcom Co. Ltd., Okamoto created his own independent video game company, Game Republic.
- Okamoto's company, Game Republic, was forced to close in 2011 due to low game sales.
- Left Capcom on June 20 2003 and formed his own company Okatuku. He is also the president of Flagship.
- He founded Flagship Co., Ltd. on April 24, 1997.
