Yûsuke Okada was born on 27 May 1949 in Kyoto, Japan. He was an actor and producer, known for Message from Space (1978), Tokkan (1975) and Great Conquest: Romance of Three Kingdoms (1992). He died on 20 November 2020 in Tokyo, Japan.

Since 2014 he has served as chairman of the Motion Picture Producers Association of Japan.

In 2020 he became honorary chairman of the Japan Academy which awards the annual &#39;Japanese Academy Awards&#39;.

Toei chairman and son of former Toei president and chairman Okada Shigeru,.

Joined Toei in 1988 and ascended the corporate ranks, becoming president in 2002 and Toei Group chairman in 2014.
