June O'Dea was born on December 18, 1912 in Revere, Massachusetts, USA. She was an actress, known for Cab Waiting (1931), Clinching a Sale (1930) and Sherlock's Home (1932). She was married to Lefty Gomez. She died on December 5, 1992 in Novato, California, USA.

Best friends with Dorothy Arnold. Except on the nights before Lefty was to pitch, June and Dorothy (married to Joe DiMaggio) would drag their husbands from one Manhattan nightspot to another.

Through the tabloids, she learned in December 1937 that husband Lefty Gomez was filing for divorce in Mexico. A Catholic, June agreed to a formal separation. Lefty told reporters that the idea of divorce was absurd, but then moved to Reno. Separation proceedings dragged on for months, then were called off in May 1938. They remained together until his death.
