- He wrote and sang, "Undercover Angel," which hit #1 in the U.S. July 9, 1977.
- He was cremated at Forest Lawn - Coachella Valley Funeral Home. His urn was subsequently buried at Coachella Valley Public Cemetery.
- He co-wrote songs and performed them for National Geographic's educational entertainment direct-to-video series, Really Wild Animals (1993) with Janis Liebhart. It was televised on the Disney Channel in the mid-1990s.
