- Mikhail Nozhkin was born on January 19, 1937 in Moscow, RSFSR, USSR [now Russia]. He was an actor and writer, known for Finist - Yasnyy sokol (1975), Semya Ivanovykh (1975) and Balamut (1979). He died on June 22, 2026 in Moscow, Russia.
- Nozhkin graduated from the Mossovet Construction College. He worked on construction sites as a foreman, engineer, and site manager, wrote poetry, participated in amateur performances, and performed songs.
- In 1980 he was awarded with the title "People's Artist of the RSFSR".
- He began acting in films in 196, making his debut in the musical film "Two Hours Earlier". After 1985, he did not act in films anymore.
- He was a laureate of the "Vasiliev Brothers State Prize of the RSFSR" in 1982.
- Songs based on his lyrics, "The Last Battle" and "The Last Electric Train" are particularly well-known.
