Biography

Cherie Nowlan was born in Singleton, New South Wales, Australia. Cherie is a director and producer, known for Introducing the Dwights (2007), The Survivors (2025) and Marking Time (2003).

Grew up in the country town of Singleton, Australia.

1993: Studied scriptwriting at the Australian Film and Radio School.

After working briefly as a journalist, began a career in film and television, working as a production assistant, researcher, and writer for various production companies, including Kennedy Miller, as well as in commercial television.
