Vladimír Novotný was born on 14 October 1914 in Tabor, Bohemia, Austria-Hungary [now Czech Republic]. He was a cinematographer and actor, known for The Shop on Main Street (1965), Lemonade Joe (1964) and The Man from the First Century (1962). He died on 14 April 1997 in Prague, Czech Republic.
