When the AVID first came out in the 1990s, he assisted on various TV shows, then worked on music videos for Michael Jackson, Don Henley, and Elton John, all of which involved complicated visual effects. After receiving FLAME training at Silicon Graphics, he was hired by Pytka productions as an effects supervisor on a music video Joe Pytka directed for Seal. He stayed on at Pytka after being made an editor on the iconic "blue letterbox" IBM campaign for Ogilvy and Mather. He worked with Joe Pytka editing hundreds of commercials over a fifteen-year period, once winning the London International Advertising Award for his work. During his time at Pytka, he edited the John Lennon video "Starting Over", and a film for the Terracotta Warriors exhibit in China. He wrote and directed his first film in 1998, "The Fortune Teller", then shot and directed the documentary "Myanmar into the Light" in 2003. The past few years he has been shooting and directing commercials. He traveled to Dharamshala, India to shoot a video for the Tibetan Children's village, then Sayaboury, Laos for the French organization "Elefantasia".
