- Both Aaron and older brother Wieland served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam, unfortunately Wieland was killed in action and was awarded the Silver Star for bravery. Aaron served 3 years as a Sergeant with an MOS 12B40 Combat Engineer Demolition.
- Holds a 10th Degree Black Belt in both American Tang Soo Do and Chun Kuk Do. Also is the President of the United Fighting Arts Federation which has over 3000 Black Belts in membership.
