Gurie Nordwall was born on 21 August 1933 in Gothenburg, Västra Götalands län, Sweden. She is an actress, known for Den byxlöse äventyraren (1971), Raskens (1976) and Mor gifter sig (1979). She was previously married to Per Sjöstrand and Jan Stenvinkel.

She comes from an artistic family, where the adoptive father Yngve Nordwall was a director and modern Elvine Nordwall was an artist.
