Angie got her start in TV as a teenager when she landed a production assistant job on Canadian hit series, The Beachcombers. After college she continued to work in the industry in front and behind camera in a variety of roles. Since then she has written, directed and acted in a number of her own award winning projects. Angie stepped down as Director of Industry Programming at the Whistler Film Festival after working on the on the Industry Programming team for 14 years. She left to pursue personal Film/TV projects.
Angie was most recently selected for the Hallmark Make Her Mark Women's Director Program (2025). She is also a recipient of the DGC BC Greenlight Short Film Award (2023/2024), the 2018 Women in Film & Television Vancouver's Spotlight Awards (CA) - Leadership in Education Award and the 2018 Whistler Excellence Awards (CA): Champion of Arts and Culture Award.
