João Nobre was born on 5 October 1916 in Faro, Portugal. He was a composer and writer, known for Pão Nosso (1940), O Amor Desceu em Pára-Quedas (1968) and As Pupilas do Senhor Reitor (1961). He died on 18 January 2002 in Lisbon, Portugal.
