Dave Niehaus was born on 19 February 1935 in Princeton, Indiana, USA. He was a director and actor, known for PlayByPlayMen and the Art of the Perfect Call (2007), My Oh My! (1996) and Sweet 116: The 2001 Seattle Mariners History Making Season (2001). He was married to Marilyn Story. He died on 10 November 2010 in Bellevue, Washington, USA.

Prior to 1996 when he had to take a leave of absence for health reasons, Neihaus had broadcast every single game for the Seattle Mariners except for two games; To attend his son&#39;s high school and college graduations.

Won the 2008 Ford C. Frick Award, given annually to a baseball broadcaster by the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
