Biography

Billy Nichols was born on April 30, 1940 in Carrollton, Mississippi, USA. He was a composer and actor, known for Carlito's Way (1993), The Dukes of Hazzard (2005) and Invincible (2006). He died on November 30, 2025 in the USA.

Billy's family were farmers by occupation.

His professional career began in earnest after relocating to Detroit in the mid-1960s, where he joined Motown Records' touring and backing bands.
