- Christoforos Nezer was a Greek stage actor and a prominent member of the historic Nezer family, which settled in Greece during the reign of King Otto. Largely self taught, he made his debut alongside Evangelia Paraskevopoulou and went on to distinguish himself in demanding roles from classical and comic repertoire, particularly works by Aristophanes and Molière. Renowned for his discipline, imagination, and deep devotion to theatre, he enjoyed a career spanning more than six decades. He was among the core actors of the National Theatre of Greece, which he served from its founding, and is remembered as one of the most distinctive presences of the Greek stage.
