Teaches sound production at The School of Visual Arts in New York.

He has contributed with the sound department of nine films that were nominated for the Best Picture Oscar: The French Connection (1971), The Godfather (1972), The Exorcist (1973), Annie Hall (1977), All That Jazz (1979), Tender Mercies (1983), Amadeus (1984), The Silence of the Lambs (1991), and The English Patient (1996).
