In early1971 up to his death on December 23, 2010, Jerry Newby was a prominent voice and acting coach. He was my coach for several years and now I teach based on his and my own experience. Jerry became like the Bruce Lee of teaching his vocal methods. Many of his students went on to performing in Broadway shows and in other performing arts groups.
