Biography

Hadrian Maria Netto was among others married with the writer Hertha Margarete Maria von Puttkamer.

After World War I he was looking for a more artistic job and he began to work as a writer from 1918. Two years later he found those passion he performed for many years - the acting.

He was able to continue his film career successfully during World War II and he acted in "Trenck, der Pandur" (1940), "Diesel" (1942) and "Der Mann, dem man den Namen stahl" (1944).

He began his career at the theater in 1920 and in the same year he already appeared in his first movie called "Das Skelett des Herrn Markutius" (1920). The theater remained his main activity in the next years but, now and then he took part in other silent movies.

The actor Hadrian Maria Netto was a versatile person who was active in different fields. He first finished a study for constitutional law before his professional career came to an interrupt when he served for the military during World War I. There he became a cavalry captain at the end.
