Biography

Miroslav Nemec was born on June 26, 1954 in Zagreb, Croatia, Yugoslavia [now Croatia]. He is an actor, known for Tatort (1970), Immer im Einsatz - Die Notärztin (1994) and Katrin ist die Beste (1997).

Founded "Hand-in-Hand," an organization supporting Civil War orphans in Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina together with his Tatort (1970) co-stars Udo Wachtveitl and Michael Fitz. The trio also frequently appears on stage as the "Miro-Nemec-Band".

Studied music at the University of Music and Dramatic Arts Mozarteum in Salzburg.

After growing up in Croatia, he was sent to relatives in Germany at the age of 12.

Made his stage debut in 1977.

Has been German citizen since 1973.
