Kay Nelson was born on 14 September 1909 in the USA. Kay is a costume designer, known for Miracle on 34th Street (1947), Mother Is a Freshman (1949) and Leave Her to Heaven (1945).

Had two children, a son Maurice Emery Nelson, Jr. (died sometime before 2015) and a daughter Karen Elizabeth Nelson (married Mason; February 16, 1936-February 25, 2015), by first husband Maurice Emery Nelson.
