Tom Neal Jr. was born on March 14, 1957 in Palm Springs, Riverside County, USA. He was an actor, known for Detour (1992). He died on August 24, 2015 in St. Louis, Missouri, USA.

Starred in the remake of the "B" film noir classic Detour (1992) that originally starred his father, Tom Neal.

His mother, Patricia Fenton, died of cancer when he was about a year old. His father died when he was 15.

Lived to the same age as his father Tom Neal. Both died at age 58, senior from heart failure and junior from cancer. Both lived nearly the same amount of time: senior 58 years, 6 months, 11 days, and junior 58 years, 5 months, 10 days. Both died in August.

His father served time for the murder of Tom Jr.'s stepmother, Gail Kloke. He served six years. When Tom Sr. was finally released after six years, father and son were briefly reunited but Tom Sr. died unexpectedly months later of heart failure.

My dad really was a good man. He was a good guy and a smart guy who did stupid things. And he lived to regret them. But eventually he even gave up the regrets. It was like, well, it's water under the bridge. He had a definite belief in God and that's how he lived his later life.

I'm old enough and mature enough to realize my dad had his faults. don't get me wrong, I loved my dad dearly, but he was human like everybody else. I went through a period in my own life, in my late 20s and early 30s, where I was kind of an 'angry young man' type; I tended to look for slights everywhere, and it wasn't difficult to piss me off. But I don't think that way any more and, like my dad, I've mellowed a lot over the years. That's what life's all about.
