Biography

Norton Nascimento was born on January 4, 1962 in Belém, Pará, Brazil. He was an actor, known for The Next Victim (1995), Araguaya - A Conspiração do Silêncio (2004) and Drama Urbano (1998). He was married to Kelly Candia. He died on December 21, 2007 in São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil.

Father of a boy and two girls from his first marriage.

In 2004 he led a campaign to increase the number of organ donations. The result was a record of organ donations in Brazil.

Became a convert to the evangelical church "Renascer em Cristo" a month before his heart transplant.

After having a serious aorta aneurysm, Norton Nascimento received a heart transplant on December 19th 2003 at the Beneficencia Portuguesa Hospital in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
