Gulshan Nanda (16 November 1929 - 1985) was a renowned Indian author and screenwriter, known for his prolific contributions to the Hindi film industry during the 1960s and 1970s. His literary works found cinematic life in numerous blockbusters of that era, such as "Kaajal," "Kati Patang," "Khilona," "Sharmeelee," and "Daag." Notably, he formed a creative partnership with the legendary Rajesh Khanna, collaborating on iconic films like "Kati Patang," "Daag," "Ajanabee," "Mehbooba," and "Nazrana."

Nanda's narratives spanned a diverse spectrum, encompassing themes ranging from societal dilemmas to heartwarming romances and gripping action thrillers.
