Seok-hoon Nam is known for Five Fingers of Death (1972), Jaws of the Dragon (1974) and Secret of the Five Fingers (2002).

James Nam was already established singer and actor in South, Korea. He changed his Korean name from Nam, Suk Hoon to a new Chinese name Nan, Kung-Hsun when he arrived in Hong Kong.

James Nam, a.k.a. Nan Kung-Hsun (Chinese name) lived in the same apartment complex in Hong Kong with director John Woo back in the 70's. Both Mr. Nam and Mr. Woo worked for Shaw Brothers, under a similar film contract.
