He directed O. Henry's story, "The Gift of the Magi," in a Holiday Favorites production at the Actors Theatre of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky with Emily Loesser (Della) and Kim Moore (Jim) in the cast. Peter Ekstrom was adapter, composer and lyricist.
