He was composer for the ballet, "Don Quixote," in the New York City Ballet company production at the New York State Theater in New York City with George Balanchine (Don Quixote); Suzanne Farrell (Dulcinen); Deni Lamont (Sancho Panza) and the entire company in the cast. George Balanchine was also choreographer. Esteban Francis was scenery, costume and lighting designer. Peter Harvey was assistant to Mr. Francis. Karinska was costume designer.
