Nina Maag studied "Production and Media Management" at the prestigious HFF Munich, Germany.

She worked as an executive producer for Ratpack Film / Constantin Film, UFA Cinema, Barefoot Films and as CEO / executive producer for Veronica Ferres film production company Construction Film in Munich, Germany.

September 2019 Nina Maag has joined Bavaria Fiction in the company's Munich offices as Executive Producer. In addition to developing her own series and new TV content, Nina Maag will support the International Series department.

Her productions include numerous award-winning films such as "The Wave", "The Weekend", "The Fourth State", "Salt and Fire", "The Phantom", and "Kiss Me Kismet".

In 2013, she was awarded the Metropolis Prize for Best Producer for "The Weekend".

Won the Metropolis Preis 2013 for producing &quot;Das Wochenende / the weekend&quot;.

Has a daughter, born in 2001, with ex-husband producer Dan Maag.

She was awarded the Metropolis Producer&#39;s Prize for The Weekend by the German Director&#39;s Guild in 2013.
