- One of the pioneers at The Norwegian Theater in Oslo, where she was engaged in 1919. Had her stage debut at Drabløs touring theater in 1917. She played over 150 roles in a great variety of plays, often seen in motherly roles, always played with warmth and vitality. In films she had mostly bit parts, best remembered for her performance as the grandmother in the film: Scorched Earth (1969) (about the burning of Finnmark in 1944). She also appeared in radio and TV plays.
