Edda Mussolini was born on September 1, 1910 in Forli, Italy. She was married to Galeazzo Ciano. She died on April 9, 1995 in Rome, Lazio, Italy.

Her father, Benito Mussolini, had her husband executed.

Had three children with her husband Galeazzo Ciano: Fabrizo Ciano, Conte di Cortelazzo (b. Shanghai, October 1, 1931), unmarried and without issue, Raimonda Ciano (b. Rome, December 12, 1933), married to Sandro Giunta, and Marzio Ciano (b. Rome, December 18, 1937), married to Gloria Lucchesi.

Daughter of politician Benito Mussolini and Rachele Mussolini, sister of Vittorio Mussolini, Bruno Mussolini and composer Romano Mussolini, niece of journalist Arnaldo Mussolini, aunt of actress Alessandra Mussolini.

During her father's lifetime, the British press described her as "the only human being in the world who can talk back to Benito Mussolini".
