Lewis Musser

Lewis Musser, known as a New York theatre veteran, studied at the Stella Adler Conservatory and first worked at Circle Rep as Jeffrey DeMunn ‘s understudy. He gained recognition acting in the New York stage adaptation of ‘Rebel Without A Cause’. Afterwards, James Dean's best friend Bill Gunn, playwright and highly respected film director, cast him in his video "Black Soap Opera," the only white actor in the cast. Other notable NY stage appearances include ‘Anna Christie’ at American Folk Theater, ‘The Winter’s Tale’ and ‘Hamlet’ in Riverside Park. Lew was Brooke Shields' personal driver during her freshman year at Princeton. This led to Blake Edwards casting him as the chauffeur for Ellen Barkin and JoBeth Williams in ‘Switch.’ An avid antiques collector and dealer, he ran Musser's Collectibles from 1992-2000, specializing in Beatles memorabilia. Considered a "Beatle Brain," he has appeared four times at FabFest, Charlotte’s BEATLES festival. Lew spent ten years working in the historic district of downtown Wilmington, NC, (aka Hollywood East) where he gave tours including the Hollywood Locations Walk. Lew is very well known for his distinctive voice and captivating storytelling skills.
