Peter Murray-Hill was born on April 20, 1908 in Bushey Heath, Hertfordshire, England, UK. He was an actor, known for Rhythm Serenade (1943), House of Mystery (1940) and The Outsider (1939). He was married to Phyllis Calvert. He died on November 25, 1957 in England, UK.

Served as president of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association from 1956 to 1957. He was a specialist in 18th century books.
