- Les Murray was born on October 17, 1938 in Nabiac, New South Wales, Australia. He was a writer and actor, known for The Widower (2004), The Last Hellos (2017) and Antarctica (1991). He was married to Valerie Morelli. He died on April 29, 2019 in Taree, New South Wales, Australia.

- Attended Sydney University from 1957-1960 but left without a degree. Resumed studies later and graduated in 1969.
