Biography

Based in New York, Philadelphia, and the Baltimore/Washington regions, Kevin Murray is a SAG-AFTRA actor who has appeared in principal roles in major TV shows including HBO's The Righteous Gemstones, We Own This City, Veep, and The Wire, as well as FBI: Most Wanted on CBS, The Good Lord Bird on Showtime, House of Cards on Netflix, Homicide-Life On the Streets on NBC, and many more. His principal film roles include Aftermath with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Runaway Bride with Julia Roberts and Richard Gere, and many independent films. Able to portray a variety of characters from comedic to serious, blue collar to white collar, judges, attorneys, politicians, professors, dads, government agents, serial killers, and everything in between, Kevin has had the pleasure of working with major names in the industry. He has appeared in scores of plays and, as a theater producer and casting director, has championed new work in both theater and film. He spent 30+ years sharing his experiences and knowledge of the industry with the film and theater artists of tomorrow at George Mason University, where he retired in 2021 as Acting Director of the School of Theater.
