Kevin Kean Murphy was born on Long Island and raised there and in Bombay (Mumbai), India where his father was with Trans World Airlines. Became an Actor after being part of the Playwrights Unit at the Actors Studio. Long time Manhattan resident and proud member of SAG-Aftra and Actors Equity. 2015

In 2018, Kevin published his novel, "Kapitola and the Kids of Pinewood Avenue," on Amazon / Kindle. Kapitola wants to be an actress. The story takes her through childhood, college and adulthood, following her career, successes, failures, marriages, relationships, and friendships. The book presents a panorama of New York life focusing on many of the changes and events of the last four decades of the Twentieth Century.
