Biography

Shigeru Muroi was born on October 22, 1960 in Namerikawa, Toyama, Japan. She is an actress, known for Izakaya yûrei (1994), Nodo jiman (1999) and Villon's Wife (2009).

Shigeru Muroi was initially cast in Tokyo Family, the 2011 remake of Tokyo Story, but ended up not playing the role of the Hirayamas' daughter after shooting was delayed due to the Fukushima nuclear disaster.
