- In 1959, while on a beach holiday in Yugoslavia, Munro invented an abstract board game "Imuri" which was very similar to the game "Twixt" invented independently by Alex Randolph just one year earlier. As Munro gained fortune and fame as a composer and writer, he lost interest in defending what rights he may have had to his game.
